“Yami. Oh Yami. YAMI!!!”
“Huh, what?!”
“You went off into Lala Land there, pal,” said Jounouchi, who was sitting on the sofa.
Jounouchi, a blond guy, who usually acted like a tough guy, but around his friends, he was a whole different person. You couldn't ask for a more loyal friend than him. He was currently talking to his good friend Atemu Amon.
Atemu preferred to go by Yami, since he thought it suited him better. Yami was a was a spiky, tri-color haired teenager. He had sharp crimson eyes, and tan skin. All the girls went crazy over him for his looks at school. Even though he was popular, he didn't let it go to his head.
Currently the two friends were just hanging out together, playing duel monsters to pass the time. Jou took a long time making his move, causing Yami to almost fall asleep on him.
“You know,” Jou started, “you could at least pretend to be intent on the game.”
“Sorry Jou, I was just thinking about the new kid who moved in.”
“You mean that Motou kid?” asked Jou.
Yami nodded.
“I heard his grandfather owned a game shop,” Jou looked down at his cards. “Maybe we could go check it out later. Who knows, maybe they have something good.”
“Yeah, good point. With some luck, you could find some new cards that are worth playing.”
“Hey!”
Yami gave him a nervous smile, and held his hands up defensively. “I'm just kidding!”
'Man, I need to learn not to speak out loud.'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sonya Motou looked around the game shop/house.
Sonya had tri-colored hair just like Yami, except it was flat down. She had oval, amethyst eyes, and was a little on the short side. She wore a plain white shirt, with a black hoodie half way zipped up. Blue jeans with black sneakers topped it off.
Her family, grandpa and her brother, had just gotten to the town of Domino, Japan. They originally had lived over in Tokyo, but her grandpa and she both agreed that her brother, Yugi, wasn't able to fit in with the rush of the city. So here they are, in a peaceful little town, easy to move around in.
“Well, I suppose this'll do for now,” Sonya told herself.
“Sonya!” Yugi called, “Could you in here and help me out with something?”
“Sure, I'll be there in a second, Yugi,” she called back, going inside the shop.
Before she made her way towards Yugi's room, grandpa stopped her.
“I'll go up there and help him out, but I recall someone saying they'll bring in all the games from the moving truck,” he scolded.
“Hehe, must've slipped my mind,” she said blushing, going right back out.
Once the, oh so fun, task was done, Sonya plopped down on a chair, in front of the cash register.
“Glad that's over with.”
“What's over with?” asked Yugi, who had walked through the door.
Just then, the door burst open revealing a blond and a tri-colored man, who looked shockingly similar to Yugi.
Sonya's eyes grew in size as she noticed the strange look alike.
“Uhhh, hi,” she said staring at him.
“Nice greeting,” Jou said smirking.
Yami just stared at the kid standing next to the girl at the cash register.
'Whoa, he looks just like me,' he thought. 'Well besides my hair having a little more blond bangs, me being slightly taller, and his eyes are much more innocent looking. I wonder why he isn't as surprised at me. Actually, he's not even looking at me.'
That was what puzzled Yami the most. What was up with this kid? Didn't he notice his clone standing a few feet away from him?
Sonya was watching Yami the whole time, and was beginning to get a little antsy about him staring at her brother.
“Can I help you?” she spat out at him.
“Geez, can you be any more rude,” Jou snorted.
Sonya ignored the blond, her focus was mainly on Yami.
Yugi felt Yami staring at him, and finally looked at him, but not straight in the eyes.
“Excuse me,” he said, “but why are you staring at me?”
“Well, uhhh, you kinda look like me... and , uhhh,” Yami sputtered.
'Why am I acting so stupid. C'mon Yami, what's the big deal. Just cause he's a cute look alike- Whoa, I did not just say “cute!”'
“Sonya, what's he talking about?” Yugi asked reaching out for her.
“Don't mind him, I'll take care of this,” she said going over to him.
She grabbed the both of them, and dragged them outside.
“Just stay there, Yugi,” she called, “I'll be right back!”
She turned her attention to the two of them, and then whacked them in the back of their heads.
“Ow!” cried Jou. “What was that for!?”
“Yeah, what did we do,” Yami said rubbing the back of his head. “I was only trying to help him realize we look alike, and I thought it was pretty, well, strange.”
With that said, Sonya whacked him again.
“Hey!”
“You stupid jerk, he's my brother!” she exclaimed. “How dare you insult him in front of me. Not to mention he's blind!”
“BLIND!” the two teens exclaimed.
“Huh, what?!”

Unsweet silence Chapter 1
Fire! That was all he could see. "Sir! Hand the boy out of the window! We're here! Hurry!"
"Dad! I'm scared!"
"Don't be scared Yugi. Take his hand"
Yugi thanked his stars that he was small and began to get through the widow that was seven stories up, the cooker below him suddenly erupted in flames like a volcano as his foot touched a switch. He screamed as the fire swallowed him.
Then there was cool air and endless pain as rough but caring arms held his fire cursed body. "We've got you, son" the fire fighter said gruffly "Oi! Get this boy en rout to the hospital, he's got some serious burns!"

Unsweet Silence Chapter 5
When they all had been soaked ten times over, they decided to go inside. Tristan looked at the sun and groaned "Why does time have to fly so fast?"
Yugi giggled, sounding happy and making everyone glance at him in surprise, still unused to any sounds coming from his little mouth. Anzu messed his hair gently "You should laugh more often, you have a nice laugh, cutie" Yugi blinked in surprise and then smiled like the sun, his face radiant. Yami felt his heart clench slightly. He felt unbelievably jealous when Yugi smiled like that to Anzu, but it was such a joy to see him smiling too.
Joey had a towel around his shoulders and grabbed his mobi
